New Recipe! A Hot Cup of Chili for a Rainy Day

On a cold rainy day like today, what is better than a nice hot cup of chili! Try out this delicious chili recipe.
Turkey Chili
1.5 lbs. Ground Turkey
2 tbs. Olive oil
2 cans of Kidney Beans
32 oz. can crushed tomatoes
1 white onion
5 cups of chicken stock
2 cloves of garlic
2 Tbs. Chili Powder
1 tsp. Paprika
1 tsp. Oregano
1 tsp. Cumin
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Pepper
Cook Ground turkey in a skillet until all the pink is out of the meat.
Chop onion and garlic into small pieces.
Heat a big pot on the stove then add oil to the hot pot. Add onion and garlic and cook until translucent. Meanwhile, open cans of beans, rinse and drain. Add beans, the can of tomatoes, turkey, and stock to the pot. Put the lid on and turn the heat to low. Allow the contents to come to a simmer, add spices and simmer for another 5-10 minutes
Healthy Tip!
I serve mine with cottage cheese and avocado. It is a healthy alternative to sour cream.
